Doug served from 1970-2000. He started as an enlisted man for the first 12 years reaching the rank of Chief Petty Officer. He then became an officer through the Mustang program, retiring as a Lieutenant Commander. Doug was a recipient of the Meritorious Service Medal 3 times.   Jim was on active duty in the Navy from 1975 to 1979, serving in Diego Garcia, Guam and Taiwan. After he left the Navy, Jim joined the Coast Guard Reserve (where he's still active nearing 27 years of military service this year) Jim is on the doorstep of being promoted to Master Chief Petty Officer.
   His USCG career has spanned from the Cuban boatlift in Key West (1980) to fighting drug and refugee smuggling between the Dominican Republic and Puerto Rico (1997-2001).
   He is currently assigned to USCG International Affairs in Washington, DC, but does duty in Sultanate of Oman in the Middle East.
Jeff Bascom

Jeff  retired from the Navy in 1990 as an Aviation Electrician's Mate Senior Chief. During his carreer in the Navy, Jeff worked on a variety of Navy aircraft, including the SH-2F, SH-60B, E-2C and the MH-53E. Jeff now works for KQ Corporation at NAS North Island as a software engineer for the S-3B trainer.
